Lars Jacobs is a graduate of McNicholas High School in Anderson Township where he enjoyed football, track and the first ever men's rally squad. He then went on the University of Alabama, where he played football under Bear Bryant. He later attended Northern Kentucky University, earning a Bachelors Degree in Finance, with a minor Real Estate.

Lars began his home construction career working for Fisher Homes as a field assistant supervisor overseeing new home construction. He was quickly promoted to Project Supervisor overseeing construction of specific new home communities. He was later promoted to Ohio Division Manager of Fisher Homes, directing construction and customer service for a division which produced over one hundred homes per year.

In 1997 Lars left Fisher Homes to start a new company, one whose central goal was a higher quality, and customer focused product. And this philosophy has paid off for Lars and for his clients. Today Sovereign Construction enjoys consistent and steady growth, completing over 40 projects in the past year.

Personally, Lars enjoys a variety of passions including sports, travel, and politics and most important are his family and love for animals.

Lars is a long time member of the Greater Cincinnati Home Builders Association.
